Products on sale can not be returned so please choose carefully.
You can return a stocked product (not on sale) purchased from Gorgeous Creatures for a period of 14 days after receipt of delivery. The parcel must be dispatched back to Gorgeous Creatures within 14 days of receipt (to be sent promptly), even though it may take a lot longer to arrive back to our door.
Full details of any return and the reason why must be emailed to Gorgeous Creatures within 7 days of receipted delivery of the item. Please tell us why you want to return an item before you return it. Please don't action a charge-back on your credit card as this breaches our terms of trade. We need to know what's happening so we can help you out and watch out for the parcel.
We will give you the safest return address, and instructions to return your purchase. It might not be an address you find online (there is old data we just can't seem to delete from old directories) so please ask for our address.
You will be responsible for any and all costs incurred in returning the product to Gorgeous Creatures in Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand (full address will be given once you contact us).
Return of goods will only be accepted where the products are returned in the condition in which they were dispatched from Gorgeous Creatures. Please return all tags and labels as well.
Returns will NOT be accepted where the item is used, damaged or incomplete in any way.
Unless we made a mistake with your order, the freight cost to send you the original order will NOT be refunded, as this cost has been consumed and already paid to the freight company, only the cost of the goods will be refunded. If we made a mistake then we will refund the cost of the original order once you return the goods to us in NZ.
Custom-made or made-to-order products (like cowhide ottomans or possum fur throws & blankets) can not be returned if you don't like them once made. You can't change your mind. We will give you all the descriptions, photos and info you need to make an informed decision before you buy a made-to-order product anyway.
These items have been made especially for you to your specifications. Talk to us about any issues, and we will try to resolve them with you.
Occassionally we get an email soon after an order has been placed. Customers say they ordered by mistake and want to cancel the order! This costs us the bank fee so please be sure you want to proceed when you place an order online. We genuinly don't understand how you can slip and add all your contact details and credit card details into a computer by mistake! Please don't test our website to see how it works, ask us and we are happy to tell you all about it!
If you change your mind and cancel an order before the order has been sent, or request a refund for any reason before the order has been sent, we reserve the right to refund the cost of the purchase LESS the bank transaction fees of 2.75% for NZ credit cards and 3.25% for international credit cards.
This is the bank fee that the payment gateway takes from us immediatly, and we do not get this fee reversed, even if we refund the customer immediatly through the same payment gateway.
Once an order is shipped (picked up by courier or posted at post office) we can't recall it, we can't get it back. So the order will need to arrive to you before you can return it back to us at your cost. When it arrives to you, please contact us to confirm you are still returing - please do this within 14 days of receipt. If your return is accepted we will give you the best return address.
The refund will be less the original cost of freight (that has already been used) and any bank fees. We reserve the right to refund the cost of the purchase LESS the original freight and bank transaction fees of 2.75% for NZ credit cards and 3.25% for international credit cards.
